✅ Cross Reference Information

Common Symptoms

• Washer does not agitate
• Washer does not spin
• Clothes remain unusually wet after the cycle
• Burning-rubber smell during operation
• Squealing or slipping noise during operation
• Slow or weak agitation or spin

Check Before Replacing

• Disconnect power before inspecting the belt or drive area.
• With power disconnected, visually inspect the belt for breakage, cracking, fraying, glazing, looseness, or signs of slipping.
• If safely accessible for the specific washer model, check whether the belt is seated correctly on the pulleys and whether nearby pulleys appear damaged or misaligned.
• If the belt appears intact but the washer still will not agitate or spin, stop troubleshooting the belt and have the drive system evaluated because other components can cause the same symptoms.
