Confirm the complete model number before ordering. Similar handle assemblies may use different mounting points, screw patterns, or handle dimensions depending on the revision suffix of your model.

Common Symptoms

  • Refrigerator door handle is loose, wobbly, or pulls away from the door
  • Handle is cracked, broken, or physically damaged
  • Handle screws will not tighten or keep stripping
  • Door is difficult to open due to a failed handle grip

Check Before Replacing

  • Inspect the handle mounting screws — they may simply need tightening
  • Check the door liner around the handle mount for cracks or stress fractures
  • Verify the full model number including suffix matches the compatible model list below
  • Confirm whether the handle is for the upper or lower door section of your French Door unit
Pro Tip: On Samsung French Door models, repeated handle loosening is often caused by stripped mounting bosses in the door liner rather than a failed handle. Inspect the liner carefully before ordering — if the boss is stripped, the liner section may also need replacement.
