2. Take a photo of the existing knob position and orientation for reference.
3. Locate the control knob that needs replacement on the range control panel.

13. Align the knob shaft opening with the valve stem, matching the flat side of the opening with the flat side of the stem. Important: Proper alignment is critical—the knob will only fit one way.
14. Push the knob straight onto the valve stem with firm, steady pressure until it seats completely against the control panel. The knob should slide on smoothly and sit flush with the panel.
