Whirlpool Washer Lever, Water Distribution WP8181725

Whirlpool OEM washer water-distribution lever used to direct incoming water into the washer's dispenser compartments.

Is This the Right Part?

Common Symptoms

• Water is directed to the wrong dispenser compartment.
• Detergent or fabric softener remains in the dispenser because the distribution lever is broken, displaced, or not operating correctly.

Check Before Replacing

• Inspect the dispenser water-distribution lever for visible breakage, displacement, or missing components.
• With power disconnected, verify that the lever is present and moves as designed within the dispenser assembly.
• Check whether water is being routed to the wrong dispenser compartment during operation; this observation alone does not confirm the lever is defective.
