Installation Notes

💡 Pro Tip — Inspect the Worm Gear While You’re In There:
The planetary and the worm gear wear together. If the planetary stripped or cracked under load, the worm gear teeth are likely rounded as well — a worn worm gear will destroy a new planetary in short order. With the mixer head open, spin the drive shaft by hand and inspect the worm gear teeth. If they’re rounded or chipped, replace both at the same time. It’s a 10-minute add-on that prevents the same failure from recurring.
