A failed dryer motor drive assembly doesn’t just stop the drum — it leaves your dryer running heat with no airflow, creating a fire hazard and ruining every load inside. In most GE-built dryers, this is caused by a failed motor drive and pulley assembly. When it fails, the drum stops rotating entirely, the dryer may hum without moving, and the thermal fuse may blow from heat buildup with no airflow. ⚡ Common failure point in GE, Frigidaire, and Electrolux dryers. Part WW03F00057 is the genuine OEM replacement that restores full drum rotation, belt tension, and drive motor function immediately.

Disconnect the wiring harness, remove the drive belt from the motor pulley, and unbolt the motor mounting bracket. Transfer the pulley from the old motor if not pre-installed on the replacement. Photograph belt routing before removal — critical for correct reassembly. Restore power and run a test cycle to confirm full drum rotation.
