When your Bosch dishwasher finishes a cycle but leaves standing water in the bottom, a failed drain pump is the most common cause. In SHE3AR72, SHE3AR75, SHE3AR76, and SHE3ARF2 series dishwashers, the drain pump forces water out through the drain hose at the end of every cycle. Skill Level: MODERATE — 30–45 minutes. Disconnect power before beginning any repair. The drain pump is accessed from inside the dishwasher tub — remove the lower spray arm, filter assembly, and sump cover to reach the pump housing. Twist the pump counterclockwise to unlock and lift out; reverse to install the new unit. Have towels ready for residual water in the sump. No special tools required.
