✅ Cross Reference Information
Common Symptoms
- Door drops or falls open instead of remaining controlled
- Door feels unusually heavy or unbalanced
- Door does not stay partially open
- Visible broken, stretched, or frayed spring/cable components
Check Before Replacing
- With the dishwasher empty and power disconnected, visually inspect both door-counterbalance sides for a broken spring, detached cord, or frayed cord; do not operate the door if hardware is loose or broken.
- Support the door and compare its movement and resistance on both sides; unequal resistance can indicate a counterbalance component problem but does not by itself confirm the failed part.
- Verify that the replacement set’s pink color code and stated 3.0 kg to 10 kg furniture-door range match the installed door before ordering.

- Install the two springs as a matched pair with the same pink color code on both sides.
- Support the dishwasher door during counterbalance repair and do not continue if a hinge, mounting point, or other door hardware is damaged.
- Follow the appliance-specific service instructions and verify door movement after installation before normal use.
