Common Symptoms

  • Drawer is cracked, broken, or otherwise damaged.
  • Drawer does not slide smoothly or align correctly on the glides.
  • Drawer does not fully close because of visible drawer or glide misalignment.
  • Produce-storage drawer is missing or unusable.

Check Before Replacing

  • Inspect the drawer body, front, and corners for cracks, breaks, or warping.
  • With the drawer empty, gently extend it and check whether it travels evenly on both sides.
  • Confirm that the drawer engages the existing glides and closes fully without forcing it.
  • Inspect the refrigerator’s drawer rails/glides separately; the documented successor drawer does not include metal side rails.
  • Verify the refrigerator model and compare the drawer’s dimensions and configuration before ordering.

Pro Tip

For removal, extend the drawer to its stop and use the release levers on the glides where fitted; when reinstalling, place the drawer onto the extended glides and confirm that it engages both glide hooks before closing it.
