A loose or broken door boot clamp is one of the most overlooked causes of front-load washer door leaks. In most Electrolux and Frigidaire front-load washers, the door boot spring clamp holds the door bellow (boot seal) firmly against the front panel and drum lip. When the clamp stretches, corrodes, or snaps, the bellow loses its seat and water escapes from the door area during every cycle. ⚡ Frequently missed during bellow replacements — a worn clamp on a new bellow causes repeat leaks within months. Part 134616200 is the genuine OEM replacement clamp that locks the door bellow in place and eliminates seal-related leaks immediately.

✔ If these symptoms match, this is the most likely failed component in the system.
✔ In most cases, replacing this spring clamp restores a firm, watertight bellow seal immediately.
Skill Level: Easy — 20–30 minutes. Disconnect power before servicing. Peel back the outer edge of the door bellow to expose the existing clamp, remove the old clamp using needle-nose pliers or a flat screwdriver, seat the new spring clamp into the bellow groove around the full circumference of the front panel opening, and press firmly until the clamp snaps into place. Verify the bellow is seated flush before closing the door and running a test cycle.
