255946P is the current genuine Fisher & Paykel / DCS small silicon-carbide hot-surface igniter. It replaces discontinued OEM part numbers 211541, 211541P, 239680 and 239680P. The igniter heats electrically and ignites gas released through the appliance’s burner and safety-valve system. Depending on the range model, the small igniter may serve an oven, griddle or grill burner.
