Is This the Right Part?

Confirm the complete model number before ordering. Similar parts may use different connectors, hose positions, or electrical ratings.

Common Symptoms

• Washer starts a cycle but no water enters the tub
• Washer fills with only hot water or only cold water
• Washer fills very slowly and the cycle stalls or times out
• Humming sound at the start of the fill cycle but no water flow

Check Before Replacing

• Confirm water supply hoses are connected and supply valves are fully open
• Check that hoses are not kinked and inlet screens are not clogged with sediment
• Verify the lid switch is functioning — a faulty lid switch prevents the fill signal from reaching the valve
• Test each solenoid coil with a multimeter (healthy reading: ~200–500 ohms; OL = failed coil)

2. Photograph wiring harness connectors, hose positions, and mounting orientation.
3. Compare the new part with the original before installation.
4. Inspect inlet hose screens for sediment and mineral buildup — clean or replace as needed.
5. Test the appliance and check for leaks, unusual sounds, or error codes after reinstallation.

Use a qualified technician when diagnosis or installation is outside your experience.
