LG Washer Dispenser Assembly ACZ74070507 – Superseded by ACZ74070513

Is This the Right Part?

Common Symptoms

• Detergent, fabric softener, or other additives do not dispense completely.
• Detergent residue or buildup is visible in the dispenser area.
• Water leaks or overflows from the detergent-drawer area during filling.
• The dispenser assembly is visibly cracked or damaged.

Check Before Replacing

• With the washer off, remove the dispenser drawer or inserts as permitted by the model instructions and check for detergent/additive buildup or hardened product.
• Clean the drawer, inserts, and accessible dispenser recess with lukewarm water and a soft brush; reinstall the components fully and securely.
• Confirm the correct detergent type is being used and that the dispenser is not filled above its MAX line.
• After cleaning and reassembly, run a normal cycle and observe whether additives dispense normally; persistent symptoms do not by themselves confirm that this assembly is defective.

Installation Notes

• Disconnect electrical power before servicing the washer.
• Verify ACZ74070507 against the washer model number before installation; visually similar dispenser parts can differ.
• Reinstall all drawer inserts and compartments securely before testing, since incorrectly seated components can restrict water flow or cause overflow.
• After installation, run a test wash and check the dispenser area for normal dispensing and leaks.
