LG Refrigerator Head Filter Assembly ADQ36011711 — Fixes Filter-Housing Leaks & Won't-Seat Failures

The LG ADQ36011711 Head Filter Assembly is designed to secure the replaceable water-filter cartridge and connect it to the refrigerator's water-supply tubing. It replaces ADQ36011706 when fitment is confirmed by the appliance model number. This is the filter-head housing — not the replaceable water-filter cartridge.

Common Symptoms

• Water leaking near the filter compartment after installing a new filter cartridge
• Filter cartridge will not lock or seat properly in the housing
• Cracked or broken filter-head housing
• Reduced water flow to the dispenser or ice maker after ruling out the filter cartridge

Check Before Replacing

• Confirm the installed filter cartridge is the correct model for your refrigerator
• Inspect the cartridge O-rings and seals for damage — a worn cartridge is a more common cause of leaks than a failed head
• Verify household water pressure and supply line are normal
• Confirm the filter-head housing is visibly cracked, broken, or has a damaged tubing connection before ordering
