CRITICAL SAFETY WARNING: Shut off water supply before replacing filter.

1. Open refrigerator door and locate filter housing (top left or interior ceiling).
2. Press release button or rotate old filter counterclockwise to remove.
3. Insert new filter and rotate clockwise until fully seated (or snap in, per model).
4. Turn on water supply.
5. Dispense and discard 2.5 gallons of water (about 5 minutes) to flush air and carbon fines.
6. Reset “replace filter” indicator on control panel, if equipped.

Safety Notes: Use only cold water. Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe without adequate disinfection.

1. Always flush new filter thoroughly to remove carbon fines.
2. Replace every 6 months or when flow slows, whichever comes first.
3. If “replace filter” light stays on, hold reset button for 3–5 seconds.
4. Check O-rings for damage before install—replace if cut or missing.
5. Keep spare filters in stock for high-turnover or rental units.
6. If water flow does not improve, check for kinks in supply line.
7. Document installation date for warranty and tracking.
8. Use only OEM filters—aftermarket may not fit or filter to NSF standards.
9. If water tastes odd after install, flush again and discard first batch of ice.
10. Store unopened filters in a cool, dry place for maximum shelf life.
11. Check for leaks after install and during first use.
