⚙️ Installation
Skill Level: MODERATE — 30–45 minutes. Disconnect power and water supply before beginning. Lay the washer on its back or side to access the motor assembly at the rear of the drum. Remove the rotor bolt and rotor, then unbolt the stator from the tub bearing housing, disconnect the wiring harness, and install the new AJB73816004 in reverse order. Torque the rotor bolt to spec and restore power to test spin before reassembling the cabinet.
💡 Pro Tip
The LE error code on LG washers is triggered by both a failed stator AND a failed hall sensor. Before ordering the stator, unplug the hall sensor connector and inspect for corrosion or damage — a corroded connector is the most common cause of false LE codes on LG front-loaders. If the connector is clean and the sensor tests bad, replace the sensor first. If the sensor is good and the motor still won't run, the stator is the confirmed failure.
