✅ Cross Reference Information

Common Symptoms

• Torn or missing filter mesh
• Lint collecting around the filter opening
• Filter does not seat securely or leaves visible gaps
• Restricted airflow or longer drying times
• Lint buildup in the exhaust path

Check Before Replacing

• Turn the dryer off and disconnect power before inspecting the filter.
• Remove the filter and check the mesh and frame for tears, cracks, warping, heavy residue, or missing sections.
• Check that the filter seats fully in its housing without rocking or leaving visible gaps.
• Clean lint from the filter and surrounding accessible filter area, then verify that the filter is completely dry before reinstalling.
• If drying remains slow after the filter is clean or replaced, inspect the vent path for restriction rather than assuming the filter is the only cause.
