Skill Level: MODERATE — 30–45 minutes, basic tools required. Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before servicing. Remove the ice bin, then unplug the ice maker wire harness and remove the mounting screws securing the assembly to the freezer wall. Slide out the old unit, install the new DA97-13718C in reverse order, reconnect the harness, restore power and water, and allow 24 hours for the first full ice cycle to complete.
