The DG61-00525A is the genuine OEM Samsung adjustable leveling leg for compatible Samsung freestanding gas and electric ranges. This leg threads into the base of the range and allows you to raise or lower each corner independently to level the appliance on uneven floors. A missing, broken, or seized leveling leg causes the range to rock, which can affect burner performance, oven door alignment, and safe operation. This part directly replaces DG61-00525B and DG61-00525C.

The DG61-00525A leveling leg is a threaded adjustable foot that screws into a nut plate welded to the base frame of the range. It is typically made of corrosion-resistant material and features a flat foot pad to grip the floor surface. Each range has four legs — one at each corner. Ranges are sold with all four installed, but individual legs can be replaced if one is damaged, missing, or seized. This part supersedes DG61-00525B and DG61-00525C with no modification required.
Range rocks or wobbles on the floor — One corner of the range sits lower than the others — Leveling leg is broken, cracked, or missing — Leg threads are stripped and the leg won't adjust — Oven door doesn't close or seal evenly due to unlevel range

No tools required for most installations. Tilt the range slightly or have a helper lift one corner to access the leveling leg. Thread the new leg into the base nut plate by hand — turn clockwise to raise, counterclockwise to lower. Use a level placed on the cooktop surface to verify the range is level front-to-back and side-to-side. Adjust all four legs as needed until the range sits stable and level. Avoid overtightening — the leg should turn smoothly throughout its adjustment range.
