A failed hot surface igniter is the most common reason a Samsung gas oven won't heat, even when the burners light normally. In most Samsung ranges, the bake igniter weakens over time and eventually draws insufficient current to open the gas valve. When it fails, the oven won't reach temperature, baking cycles abort, or the oven simply won't light at all. ⚡ Leading failure point in Samsung NX-series gas ranges. Part DG94-01012A is the genuine OEM replacement that restores full ignition current and gets your oven baking reliably again.

✔ If these symptoms match, this is the most likely failed component in the system.
✔ In most cases, replacing this hot surface igniter restores normal bake operation immediately.
Skill Level: MODERATE — 30–45 minutes. Disconnect power and shut off the gas supply before beginning. Remove the oven racks and bottom panel to access the bake burner assembly; disconnect the igniter wire harness, remove the two mounting screws, and swap in the new igniter. Do not touch the igniter element with bare hands — skin oils can create hot spots that shorten its lifespan; handle by the ceramic base only.
