Installation Notes
- Remove the filter cover if the refrigerator design uses one and retain it for the replacement filter.
- Turn the old filter counterclockwise and pull it straight out; some water may spill.
- Align the new EDR3RXD1B filter with the housing, insert it until seated, and turn it clockwise approximately one-quarter turn until locked.
- If the filter is not correctly locked, the dispenser may not operate.
- Flush the water system for at least two minutes after replacement and follow the refrigerator owner's manual for resetting the filter indicator, if applicable.
