Skill Level: EASY — 5 minutes, no tools required. No need to shut off the water supply for this filter. Locate the filter housing in the upper-right corner of the fresh food compartment (side-by-side) or lower-left corner (bottom freezer). Turn the old filter a quarter-turn counterclockwise and pull straight out, then insert the new EDR3RXD1B and turn clockwise until it locks. Run 4 gallons of water through the dispenser to flush the new filter before use.
