A failed drain pump motor is the most common cause of a Miele dishwasher that leaves standing water in the bottom of the tub at the end of the cycle, or stops mid-cycle with a drain error. In Miele dishwashers, the synchronous drain pump motor drives the impeller that forces water out of the tub through the drain hose. When it fails, water cannot be expelled — the dishwasher may stop mid-cycle, display a drain fault code, or complete the cycle but leave the tub full of dirty water. ⚡ Common failure point in Miele dishwashers — especially after extended use or a foreign object blockage event. Part 11025001 is the genuine OEM synchronous drain pump motor that restores full draining function immediately.
