If your Blomberg dishwasher won’t fill with water, stops before the wash cycle starts, or runs dry, a failed water inlet valve is the most likely cause. In most Blomberg dishwashers, the water inlet valve is an electrically operated solenoid that opens to allow water into the tub at the start of each cycle. When it fails — whether from a burned solenoid coil, debris blockage, or a stuck diaphragm — the dishwasher receives no water, the cycle stalls immediately, or the machine fills too slowly to complete a wash. ⚡ One of the most common Blomberg dishwasher failures, especially in hard-water areas. Part 1883570600 is the genuine OEM replacement that restores proper water fill and cycle operation with no modification required.

✔ If these symptoms match, the water inlet valve is the most likely failed component in the system.
✔ In most cases, replacing the water inlet valve restores normal fill and cycle operation immediately.
Skill Level: EASY — 20 to 35 minutes. Turn off the water supply at the shutoff valve under the sink and disconnect power to the dishwasher at the breaker before starting. The water inlet valve is located at the bottom-left of the dishwasher behind the lower access panel — remove the panel screws to access it. Disconnect the water supply line, unplug the solenoid wire harness, remove the mounting screws, and install the new 1883570600 in the same position. Reconnect the harness and supply line, restore water and power, and run a short cycle while checking for leaks at the inlet connection. Hand-tighten the supply line fitting only — do not overtighten or the valve body may crack.
