Broan-NuTone F675 Exhaust Fan Motor and Blade Assembly
Genuine Broan-NuTone motor, blade and mounting plate — restores full 70 CFM exhaust airflow in compatible 675-series and H600 housings
F675 Broan-NuTone Motor and Blade Assembly for Exhaust Fans, Fixes No Airflow or a Noisy Fan
🇺🇸 Matching U.S. Part Number: F675
F675 is the current genuine Broan-NuTone bathroom exhaust-fan motor and blade assembly. It replaces discontinued service numbers S10940056, 10940056, S10940969 and 10940969. The assembly includes the motor, fan blade and mounting plate. It is designed for Broan and NuTone 675 and F675 fans and can also replace the former F650 50-CFM motor assembly in the compatible housing. The replacement grille S10880266 is sold separately.
The motor and blade move humid or stale bathroom air into the exhaust duct. A worn, seized or electrically failed motor may contribute to no airflow, reduced airflow, humming, rattling, grinding or intermittent operation. Similar symptoms can also result from blocked ductwork, a stuck exterior damper, loose mounting hardware, damaged wiring or heavy dust buildup.
Confirm the original fan model and housing dimensions before ordering. Disconnect electrical power before removing the grille or motor plate.
Is This the Right Part?
Current replacement F675 supersedes S10940056. Fits Broan and NuTone 675 and F675 fans and can replace the F650 assembly in the compatible housing. Confirm the complete fan model and housing before ordering.
Common Symptoms
- Fan not starting — no movement, no airflow
- Motor humming but blade not spinning
- Little or no airflow despite fan running
- Grinding, rattling or squealing during operation
- Fan running slower than normal
- Intermittent operation — fan starts and stops unexpectedly
Check Before Replacing
- Confirm power to the fan — check the switch, breaker and wiring before replacing the motor
- Inspect the ductwork and exterior damper — a blocked duct or stuck damper can restrict airflow even with a working motor
- Check for heavy dust buildup on the blade and housing — clean before testing
- Verify the housing model — confirm it is a 675, F675, F650 or H600-series housing before ordering
- Inspect the mounting plate and tabs for damage that may cause vibration or noise

Installation Notes
- Disconnect electrical power at the breaker before beginning — do not rely on the wall switch alone.
- Remove the grille cover and unplug the motor connector from the housing.
- Photograph the wiring and mounting position before removal.
- Slide out the old motor and blade assembly and compare with the new F675 before installing.
- Slide the new assembly into the housing rails until it clicks into place and reconnect the motor plug.
- Reinstall the grille, restore power, and test — the fan should spin freely and quietly.
- Inspect the duct and exterior damper for blockage while the assembly is accessible.
Use a qualified technician when diagnosis or installation is outside your experience.
Verified Compatible Models
675, F675, F650 (50-CFM housing — F675 assembly increases airflow to approximately 70 CFM in this housing)
Fitment reminder: Match the complete fan model and housing designation before ordering. H600 is a compatible housing designation, not a complete fan model number. Confirm the complete model label before ordering.
