1. Unplug the washer from the power outlet
2. Turn off both hot and cold water supply valves behind the washer
3. Pull the washer away from the wall to access the back panel
4. Remove the back access panel (usually 4–6 screws)
5. Place towels and a bucket to catch residual water in the hoses
6. Disconnect the hot and cold water supply hoses from the inlet valve
7. Disconnect the wire harness connectors from the valve solenoids
8. Remove the mounting screws securing the valve to the washer frame
9. Install the new DC62-30314H replacement valve in the same position
10. Secure with mounting screws and reconnect the wire harness
11. Reconnect hot and cold water hoses and tighten securely
12. Turn on water supply and check for leaks before restoring power
13. Run a test cycle to verify proper fill operation
