When it fails, the compressor attempts to start, draws excess current, and immediately trips the overload — leaving the refrigerator warm and clicking every few minutes. ⚡ Common failure point in BSH-built bottom-freezer and French door refrigerators. The compressor should start within the first cooling cycle.
