Skill Level: MODERATE β 30β45 minutes (two people recommended). Disconnect power before dismounting the microwave. Locate wall studs using a stud finder β the mounting plate must be anchored into studs, not drywall alone. Use a level to ensure the plate is perfectly horizontal before securing, then torque mounting hardware to the specification in your microwave's installation guide. Have a second person support the microwave while attaching the upper cabinet bolts.
