Common Symptoms
- Unresponsive selection buttons when the dishwasher otherwise has power
- Erratic or intermittent button response
- Visible cracking, fading, peeling, or other damage to the black console surface
- Display-area damage or deterioration
Check Before Replacing
- Confirm the dishwasher has power and that the issue is limited to the control interface.
- Inspect the console surface for cracks, fading, peeling, warping, or other physical damage.
- With the dishwasher safely powered, observe whether individual selection buttons and the display respond consistently; do not force buttons.
- Verify the appliance model number before ordering or installing the console assembly.
Pro Tip
If the console is physically cracked, faded, or damaged and button operation is affected, compare the console appearance and button layout with the replacement part before installation; the console itself does not establish that the underlying control electronics are faulty.
