W11627525 is a genuine Whirlpool dishwasher centre spray-arm assembly. It replaces discontinued Whirlpool part number W11043437.

The spray arm receives pressurized water from the dishwasher circulation system and rotates to distribute wash water across dishes in the upper and centre rack area.

A cracked, clogged, warped or seized centre spray arm may contribute to poor cleaning, food remaining on dishes, weak spray coverage or abnormal rattling during operation.

Similar symptoms can also result from blocked filters, low water level, a damaged centre manifold, a circulation-pump problem, improper rack loading or an item preventing the arm from rotating. Inspect the spray openings and confirm that the arm rotates freely before replacing it.

Installation Notes

1. Disconnect power and shut off the water supply before servicing.
2. Remove the middle rack and locate the centre spray arm on the spray tower.
3. Twist the retaining nut counterclockwise to release the old arm and lift it off.
4. Compare the new arm with the original — confirm spray-hole pattern, mounting hub style and arm diameter match.
5. Snap the new arm onto the tower hub and twist the retaining nut clockwise to lock. Confirm the arm rotates freely before reinstalling the rack.
6. Run a test cycle and check for correct rotation and wash coverage.
