• CRITICAL SAFETY WARNING:
• Unplug washer and turn off water supply before repair.
• Unplug washer
• and shut off both hot and cold water supply valves.
• Move washer away from wall
• for rear access.
• Remove rear panel or top cover
• (model dependent) to access valve.
• Place towel or pan under valve
• to catch water drips.
• Disconnect hot and cold water hoses
• from the valve (have a catch pan ready).
• Unplug wiring harnesses
• from solenoid coils (note locations or take a photo).
• Remove mounting screws
• securing valve to washer frame.
• Take out old valve
• and inspect hose fittings for debris or wear.
• Install new valve
• in same orientation and secure with screws.
• Reconnect wiring harnesses
• and water hoses (hand-tight + 1/4 turn).
• Restore water supply,
• check for leaks at all connections.
• Plug in washer
• and run a fill cycle to verify proper operation.
• Safety Notes:
• Never overtighten hose fittings. Replace hoses if cracked or kinked. Clean inlet screens before reconnecting.
