The WG02F13133 is the genuine OEM cooling fan assembly for GE, Monogram, Profile, and Café wall ovens and ranges, replacing the discontinued WG02F10131, WB26X24020, 164D6682P004, 164D6682P008, and WB26X31060. The cooling fan runs during and after baking cycles to protect the control board, door, and cabinet from heat damage — it is not the convection fan. When the cooling fan fails, the oven may overheat, shut down mid-cycle, display thermal error codes, or the control panel may become excessively hot to the touch. This is a direct OEM replacement for a precise fit with no modifications required.
The cooling fan is distinct from the convection fan — it runs continuously during baking and for a cool-down period after the oven shuts off to protect the electronic control board, door glass, and surrounding cabinetry from heat damage. On most GE wall oven models, the cooling fan is mounted at the top of the oven cavity behind the control panel. A failed cooling fan motor causes the oven to overheat and trigger thermal protection shutdowns. A fan that runs but makes grinding or rattling noise typically has a worn bearing and should be replaced before it fails completely.
OEM (WG02F13133): The genuine GE factory cooling fan assembly. Correct motor specifications, mounting bracket, and wiring harness for a direct-fit installation. The only recommended option for this repair.
