A cracked, kinked, or deteriorated drain hose is one of the most common causes of washer leaks and drainage failures. The WG04F06615 is the direct OEM replacement drain hose for affected GE washers, engineered to match the original routing, diameter, and connection points exactly — so water flows out cleanly every cycle without pooling, backing up, or leaking onto your floor.

This drain hose addresses the most common drainage failure modes in affected GE washers: water leaking from the back of the washer during drain cycle, washer not draining completely or leaving standing water in the drum, error codes related to drain failure or slow drain, visible cracks, splits, or brittleness in the existing hose, and water pooling on the floor behind or beneath the machine.

Always unplug the washer and turn off the water supply before starting. Place a towel or shallow pan under the hose connection to catch residual water. Note the routing path of the old hose before removing it — photograph it if needed. Disconnect the old hose at both the pump outlet and the standpipe or utility sink. Route the new WG04F06615 along the same path and secure all clamps firmly. Ensure the standpipe end of the hose is inserted at least 4–6 inches into the drain but not sealed airtight — an air gap prevents siphoning. Run a short drain-only cycle to verify no leaks before returning the washer to service.
