The main control board is the brain of your GE dishwasher — it sequences every component from water fill to drain. When part WG04F11374 fails, the dishwasher may refuse to start, freeze mid-cycle, display error codes that won't clear, or become completely unresponsive. This is a direct OEM replacement, also superseding 121800097, 0121800097, 265D3241, and 265D3241G400.

How do I reset my GE dishwasher before replacing the board?
Disconnect power at the circuit breaker for 5 minutes, then restore. If the error code clears and the dishwasher runs normally, the board may have had a temporary fault. If the same code returns, the board has failed. See our full guide: Dishwasher Not Starting or Showing Error Codes – Control Board Fix.
Should I check the door latch before replacing the board?
Yes — always check the door latch and thermal fuse first. Both are much cheaper than the control board and can cause identical symptoms. Contact us with your error code and we'll help diagnose before you order.
Is this a DIY repair?
Moderate difficulty — requires removing the inner door panel but no special tools. Total time: 30–45 minutes. Contact us if you need model-specific guidance.
