Is This the Right Part?

✅ Cross Reference Information

Common Symptoms

• Drum stops spinning
• Dryer makes squealing or belt-related noise
• Dryer may not start if the belt switch or belt path is affected
• Drum turns unusually easily by hand when the belt is broken

Check Before Replacing

• Disconnect electrical power before servicing.
• With power disconnected, rotate the drum by hand and note whether it turns unusually freely; this can indicate a broken or displaced belt but is not conclusive.
• If the appliance design permits safe access, visually inspect the belt for breaks, fraying, glazing, or displacement from the drum, motor pulley, or idler pulley.
• Confirm that the belt remains routed around the drum and both pulleys; do not operate the dryer with panels removed.

Installation Notes

• Disconnect power or switch off the appliance circuit breaker before installation.
• Installation requires appliance disassembly and should follow the model-specific service documentation because cabinet and belt-routing arrangements can vary.
• Route the belt around the drum, motor pulley, and idler/tension pulley as specified for the appliance; confirm that the belt is seated and aligned before reinstalling all panels.
• Replace all removed panels and confirm the drum rotates normally by hand before restoring power.
