Disconnect power to the refrigerator before beginning. The main control board is typically located in the rear lower access panel or behind the refrigerator’s back wall. Photograph all wiring harness connections before disconnecting. Remove the mounting screws, swap the board, reconnect all harnesses in the original positions, and restore power. Allow the refrigerator 24 hours to stabilize temperature after installation. If error codes persist, perform a hard reset by unplugging for 5 minutes before powering back on.
