No tools required for most models. The gasket snaps or slides into the door channel around the perimeter of the door. Start at one corner and work around the door, pressing the gasket lip firmly into the channel. If the gasket is stiff, soak it in warm water for 10–15 minutes to make it more pliable. After installation, close the door and check the seal by placing a piece of paper at various points — it should hold with light resistance. Allow 24 hours for the gasket to fully conform to the door frame.
