Skill Level: EASY — 15–20 minutes. Disconnect power before servicing. Remove the two mounting screws at the back of the oven cavity, pull the element forward to expose the wire connectors, disconnect and reconnect to the new element, then secure with screws and restore power.

While you have the oven open, test the temperature sensor with a multimeter — it should read approximately 1080–1090 ohms at room temperature. A reading outside that range means the sensor is failing and will cause the same no-heat or uneven-bake symptoms even after replacing the element. Swap both parts in one visit and you're done.
