The WS01F07249 is a genuine OEM oven ignitor glowbar for GE and compatible gas ranges/ovens. This silicon carbide ignitor rapidly heats to over 2000°F to ignite the gas at the bake or broil burner. Features a robust ceramic base, pre-attached wire leads with ceramic connectors, and a protective metal shield. Designed for fast, reliable ignition and safe operation. Typical lifespan is 3–7 years; failures are most often due to element wear, electrical surges, or contamination. Symptoms: oven won’t heat, delayed ignition, weak orange glow, or no glow at all. IMPORTANT: Always use OEM ignitors for correct amperage and fit. CRITICAL: Disconnect power and gas supply before servicing.
