OEM Replacement | Current Part: WS01F10907 | Also Available: WS01F09044 (Previous OEM) | Fits GE PCS940 Series | Fast Canadian Shipping
The WS01F10907 is the current genuine OEM electronic control board assembly for GE PCS940 series slide-in ranges. The control board is the central processing unit of the range — it manages oven temperature, burner ignition, display output, timer functions, and safety interlocks. When the board fails, the range may display error codes, show a blank or frozen display, fail to heat, or behave erratically. WS01F10907 is the updated replacement for the previous board WS01F09044 and also supersedes 295D3070G007, 295D3070G068, and 191D9084G001.

Control board failure on GE PCS940 series ranges is typically caused by power surge damage, capacitor failure, or relay burnout on the board. A failed relay will prevent specific functions (e.g., bake element won't activate but broil works, or vice versa). A failed capacitor or processor will cause display issues or complete board failure. Before replacing the board, verify the failure is not caused by a failed bake or broil element — test element resistance with a multimeter (a working element reads 15–50 ohms; open circuit indicates element failure, not board failure).
Oven not heating on bake or broil | Range display blank or frozen | Oven error codes on display | Oven temperature inaccurate or uncontrolled | Burners not igniting (on applicable models) | Range functions unresponsive to controls | Oven shutting off unexpectedly

CRITICAL: Disconnect power at the breaker before beginning this repair. Control boards are sensitive to static discharge — handle by the edges only. Repair difficulty: 3/5. Estimated time: 30–60 minutes. The control board is located behind the control panel at the rear of the range. To access: remove the rear panel screws, carefully disconnect all wiring harness connectors (photograph the connector layout before disconnecting), remove the board mounting screws, and swap the board. Reconnect all harnesses in the same positions, restore power, and test all oven functions before reassembling the panel. Tip: If the range displays an error code after installation, perform a factory reset by disconnecting power for 60 seconds before powering back on.

What is the difference between WS01F10907 and WS01F09044? WS01F10907 is the current OEM board that supersedes WS01F09044. Both are compatible with the same PCS940 series models. WS01F10907 is the factory-current version; WS01F09044 is the previous generation. Either will restore full function to your range. See our Oven Won't Heat guide for diagnostic help.
How do I know if the control board is the problem and not the bake element? Test the bake element with a multimeter set to resistance (ohms). A working element reads 15–50 ohms; an open circuit (OL) means the element has failed, not the board. If the element tests good and the oven still won't heat, the board is the likely cause. See our Range Display Not Working guide for display-specific diagnostics.
Is this a difficult repair? Rated 3/5 difficulty. The board is accessible from the rear panel and all connections are plug-in harnesses. The main risk is static damage to the board — handle by the edges only and work on a non-static surface. Contact us if you need model-specific guidance.
Will this board clear my error codes? If the error code is caused by a failed control board, replacing the board will clear it. If the error code is caused by a failed sensor, element, or other component, the code will persist after board replacement. Contact us with your error code and model number for a diagnosis before ordering.
