CRITICAL SAFETY WARNING: Unplug range or turn off circuit breaker before servicing. This is a 240V component.

1. Unplug range or switch off breaker.
2. Remove oven racks for access.
3. Locate and remove mounting screws securing element to oven floor/rear wall.
4. Carefully pull element forward to expose wiring terminals.
5. Disconnect wires from element terminals (note locations or take a photo).
6. Remove old element from oven cavity.
7. Install new element in same orientation.
8. Reconnect wires to correct terminals, ensuring tight fit.
9. Secure element with mounting screws.
10. Restore power and run a bake cycle to test for proper heating.
11. Reinstall oven racks and monitor for even heat.

Safety Notes: Avoid damaging insulation or letting wires fall into oven wall. If element fails repeatedly, check oven thermostat and control board.

1. Test old element for continuity (expect 15–40Ω); infinite = open circuit.
2. Inspect for bulges, cracks, or burn marks—replace if found.
3. Check terminals for corrosion or loose connections—clean or replace as needed.
4. If oven still doesn’t heat, test for voltage at element terminals (~240V when ON).
5. Replace both bake and broil elements if both are aged for consistent performance.
6. Use only OEM elements; aftermarket may not match wattage or fit.
7. Document installation for warranty and service records.
8. If oven trips breaker after replacement, inspect for shorted wires or faulty control board.
9. Allow oven to run empty for 10 minutes after install to burn off manufacturing residue.
10. Monitor for smoke or odor on first use—this is normal for new elements.
11. If oven is slow to preheat after install, check door gasket and insulation.
