CRITICAL SAFETY WARNING: Unplug washer before servicing. Use anti-static wrist strap if available.

1. Unplug washer from the outlet.
2. Remove control panel screws (typically at rear or under end caps).
3. Gently lift and tilt control panel to access the control board.
4. Take photos of all wire connections for reference.
5. Disconnect all wire harnesses and ribbon cables from the old board.
6. Remove mounting screws or tabs holding the control board.
7. Carefully remove the old board (avoid flexing/touching components).
8. Install the new board in the same orientation.
9. Reconnect all harnesses and cables using your photos as a guide.
10. Secure board with screws/tabs.
11. Reinstall control panel and fasteners.
12. Plug in washer and test all cycles and functions.

Safety Notes: Handle PCB by the edges. If errors persist after install, unplug for 5 minutes to reset.

1. Check for blown fuses or tripped breakers before replacing the board.
2. Test incoming power to the board—should be 120V AC at main input.
3. Inspect old board for burn marks, corrosion, or swollen components.
4. If surge damage is suspected, inspect all attached components (motor, valves, etc.) for collateral failure.
5. Use anti-static protection when handling new board.
6. Label all connectors if unsure—incorrect connections can damage the board.
7. Update firmware if required after board replacement (see service manual).
8. If washer still dead after install, check lid lock and user interface boards.
9. Document installation for warranty and troubleshooting.
10. Clear persistent errors by unplugging washer for 5+ minutes.
11. Test all cycles with an empty load before returning to service.
