Skill Level: Easy — 15–30 minutes. Disconnect power before servicing. Remove the ice bin and locate the ice maker module mounted to the freezer wall or ceiling. Disconnect the wiring harness connector and water fill tube, remove the 2–3 mounting screws, and slide the old assembly out. Install the new DA97-07603B in reverse order, reconnect the harness and fill tube, restore power, and allow up to 24 hours for the first full ice production cycle.
