Don’t Confuse XWFE with XWF — They Look Identical:
The XWF and XWFE are visually nearly identical — the only external difference is a small RFID chip on the end cap of the XWFE. If your fridge was built after 2019 and you install an XWF, it will not be recognized by the control board and the filter warning will not clear.
