Skill Level: MODERATE — 30–60 minutes. Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing — induction cooktops run on 240V. Remove the cooktop from the countertop cutout by unscrewing the mounting clips from below, then carefully lift and flip to access the underside. Photograph all wiring harness and ribbon cable connections before disconnecting. Swap the control board, reconnect all harnesses, reinstall, restore power, and run a full zone test. Caution: Never touch induction coil components while power is connected — capacitors may retain charge after disconnect.
