• CRITICAL SAFETY WARNING:
• Unplug dryer before servicing. Use cut-resistant gloves (sharp edges).
• Unplug dryer from power.
• Remove lint screen and the screws under the lint screen housing (model-dependent).
• Release/raise the top panel (putty knife at front clips on many units).
• Remove the front panel (disconnect door switch harness).
• Remove the drum (note belt routing before removal).
• Remove the old belt from the drum and vacuum lint from cabinet, blower area, and motor base.
• Inspect drum rollers for flat spots/noise, idler pulley for wobble/seized bearing, and motor pulley for grooves. Replace as needed.

• Reinstall drum onto rear rollers/bulkhead supports.
• Route belt through the idler pulley and around the motor pulley (create proper tension; belt should be centered on motor pulley).
• Spin the drum by hand 2–3 full rotations to confirm tracking and tension.
• Reinstall front panel, reconnect door switch, lower top, reinstall screws and lint screen.
• Restore power and run a timed dry test; confirm smooth rotation and no squeal/burn smell.
