Step-by-Step Installation

1. 
   Turn Off Water Supply & Unplug Refrigerator
   
   Safety first! Always disconnect power and shut off the water line before working.
   
2. 
   Locate Old Water Valve
   
   
   Usually found at the back of the refrigerator near the bottom.
   
   
   Identify the inlet (from water supply) and outlet (to ice maker/water dispenser) lines.
   
   
   
3. 
   Disconnect Water Lines
   
   
   Use adjustable wrench or pliers to loosen connections.
   
   
   Keep a towel handy for any water spillage.
   
   
   
4. 
   Remove Old Valve
   
   
   Unscrew mounting screws holding the valve in place.
   
   
   Carefully pull the old valve out, disconnecting electrical connections if present.
   
   
   
5. 
   Install New Valve (WR01F04596)
   
   
   Position the new valve in the same orientation as the old one.
   
   
   Reattach mounting screws and secure firmly.
   
   
   Connect water inlet and outlet lines, ensuring tight, leak-free connections.
   
   
   Reconnect any electrical connectors if applicable.
   
   
   
6. 
   Turn On Water Supply & Check for Leaks
   
   
   Slowly turn on water supply and inspect all connections for leaks.
   
   
   Tighten if necessary.
   
   
   
7. 
   Plug in Refrigerator & Test
   
   
   Plug the fridge back in.
   
   
   Test the ice maker and water dispenser for proper operation.

1. No Water to Ice Maker or Dispenser

  Ice maker does not fill, or water dispenser delivers no water.

2. Slow Water Flow

  Water trickles slowly from the dispenser or into the ice maker.
  
• 
  Could indicate partial blockage in the valve or low water pressure.
  

3. Leaks Around the Valve

  Water pooling near the valve or at the back of the fridge.

4. Ice Maker Produces Small or Misshapen Ice
