⚠️ Recommended While Repairing:
While the oven is open, inspect the sensor wiring harness and connector for signs of heat damage, corrosion, or melted insulation — a damaged harness will cause the new sensor to fail prematurely. Replacing the connector pigtail at the same time is inexpensive insurance against a repeat repair.

⚙️ Installation

Skill Level: EASY — 10–15 minutes. Disconnect power to the range at the breaker or by unplugging before beginning. Remove the two screws securing the sensor to the back wall of the oven cavity, pull the sensor forward, and disconnect the wiring harness connector. Connect the new sensor, route the wire through the cavity wall, and reinstall the mounting screws. Do not overtighten the mounting screws — finger-tight plus a quarter turn is sufficient to avoid cracking the sensor flange.

After installing the new sensor, restore power and run a bake cycle to 350°F with an independent oven thermometer placed in the center rack.
