Skill Level: Moderate — 20–30 minutes. Disconnect power at the wall or breaker before beginning. Remove the control panel screws to access the timer, photograph all wire terminal positions before disconnecting, transfer the knob and any mounting hardware to the new timer, reconnect all terminals in the same positions, and reassemble the panel. Confirm the timer advances correctly through a full timed cycle before leaving unattended.
