DA97-15217D is a genuine Samsung AW4 120-volt refrigerator ice-maker assembly. It replaces Samsung part numbers DA97-12317A, DA97-12317B, DA97-15217A and DA97-15217B.
The complete assembly includes the ice mould, motor, thermostat, ejector mechanism, wiring and housing required to freeze and release ice into the storage container. Produces approximately ten cubes per cycle. Full-depth style — do not confuse with shorter counter-depth assemblies DA97-13718C or DA97-18859A.
A defective, frozen or mechanically jammed ice maker may contribute to no ice, slow production, cubes remaining in the mould, repeated jams, or failure to complete a harvest cycle.
