• Disconnect power

• Locate the console assembly
• – The IML assembly and backsplash is the front panel of the control console at the back of the washer.
• Remove the console end caps
• – If applicable, remove the plastic end caps on each side of the console by releasing the clips or removing screws.
• Remove console mounting screws
• – Unscrew the screws securing the console to the washer cabinet (usually located at the back or underneath the console).
• Tilt or lift the console
• – Carefully tilt the console forward or lift it to access the back side.
• Take a photo
• – Document any wire connections before proceeding.
• Remove the old IML panel
• – Depending on the model, the IML panel may be secured with clips, screws, or adhesive. Carefully release the clips or remove screws holding the panel to the console frame.
• Disconnect any ribbon cables or connectors
• – If the touchpad connects to the control board via ribbon cable, carefully disconnect it.
• Remove old panel completely

• Install new IML panel
